Hi! I'm not sure if this problem is hardware or software oriented,
but here goes:

I have FreeBSD 2.1 running on a P90 (Intel Zappa). I use UUCP
to poll my provider over a V.34 modem (USR V.everything). Every
so often the modem hangs up when polling (with uucico) just after
it has done the negotiation (when the modem is supposed to return
a "CONNECT 28800XXX"). In the uucico-log I get a "hangup signal
received". I have not experienced this behaviour outside FreeBSD.

Any clues?
