(1) How do I make ppp dial another phone number when dialing the first failed? I think I remember seeing a config file that does that SOMEwhere, but I can't seem to find it again :-( (2) My ISP uses different addresses for their end of the PPP connection, so I cannot simply put "the" address into the linkup file. Is HISADDR a human-processed macro (meaning I am meant to replace it by the actual address) or a machine-processed one (meaning ppp does it for me)?
