I installed 2.1.0 from a DOS partition onto sd1. I have a wd0 (with
Linux on it) and sd0 (with Windows 95 on it). I have LILO (the Linux
boot manager) installed on the MBR of wd0. Because I'm having trouble
getting FreeBSD to boot from LILO, I want to boot from the FreeBSD
installation boot floppy.

At the "Boot:" prompt I typed

	hd(2,a)/kernel

and it did seem to start booting from sd1, but after the
initialization of devices I got an error about not being able to mount
root on (from?) sd0.

What magic do I need to boot 2.1.0 from sd1?

Thanks.
