The FreeBSD-current kernels fully support read/write ext2fs and
was ported from the work done on Lites by Godmar Back. The
reason is NOT jealousy and it was fortunate that someone (Godmar)
took the time to do the work. There are still a few problems
and they are being worked by various people.
