There is? Is this part of FreeBSD or available with the controller. I
couldn't find any such thing in the FreeBSD 2.1.0 snap release (but maybe
I didn't look hard enough :-} ).

What kind of (raw) i/o speeds is it capable of?

Is the driver very specific, or would it be relatively easy to modify it
to work with some of the other RAID controllers on the market?
