When I telnet to my freebsd box using NCSA telnet 2.6.1 on a mac i don't
get the log in prompt till I hit return. This dosn't occur when using
qvtnet from windoze (it just crashes if you scroll to fast :-( ).

What sort of machine are you telneting from?
