I'm currently installing R2.0.5 on a Gateway P5-90 with an ATI GX Mach
64 graphic controller. I appear to get X windows sort of up &
running, but as soon as I move the PS/2 mouse, it jumps from the
centre to the top of the screen and then only moves across the screen
as I move the mouse but not up and down the screen.

The only debug messages I get from startx are:

"PEX extension Int:Couldn't open default PEX font file Roman_MWarning:
unable to get status of mouse fd (invalid arguement)"

I've loaded the PEX fonts, but the error continues.
I've installed psm0 in the kernel
The mouse works OK on Linux-FT & MS-Windows

Any clues please ? (better still a solution ;-))

TIA
Stuart,
