You mean the mailer that's built into the Netscape web browser, I
suppose. The problem is that it will telnet to your sendmail demon and
send your mail via SMTP. Sendmail won't change anything in the mail then.
But there is a "preferences" menu item in Netscape where you can change the
mail address to whatever you wish.
