: on the server.

We use Linux exclusively in house on a variety of machines and have found
that it performs just dandy when plugged into a few T-1 lines.

We use Linux for a Shell, Pop, SLIP/PPP, News, Web.......etc server and
don't really have any problems.

My Linux news-server has been online since I booted it and will only come
down today when I install another 2.1 gig drive into it.
