* Price is a secondary consideration. Really.
* Compatibility and overall quality are primary considerations.
* Must be compatible with Linux and/or BSD -- no exceptions. This means
more than the machine boots, but that all major components work and are
not crippled.
* SCSI is a plus.
* Lithium Ion battery is a plus.
* Systems with CMD or RZ1000 IDE chipsets will be automatically
rejected.
* Systems with C&T video chipsets will be automatically rejected.
If you know of laptop has the ability to do this, please send me a note
if you can. I'm on a tight time schedule, otherwise usenet alone would
be OK.
