Hi all,

I've just bought a VESA IDE controler with two 16550 UARTS, to
connect our 28800 modems. Althow, I can't seem to establish a
dialout PPP connection; pppd doesn't negotiate correctly.

When someone dials in through one of the ports, the connection is
established, but after a while, the computer blocks out completely,
and the system must be restarted.

With the previous 16450 UARTS, the system didn't crash, and the PPP
connections were established corretly.

Has anybody ever experienced a similar problem ? I've tried to replace
the port card without success.

Thanks in advance,
Joao.
