Could someone please tell me the specification of a line printer input
filter. I've looked in all the SunOS manuals and they only describe output
filters.

The reason I need to know is so that I can complete such a filter which
differenciates between standard text and postscript. If the text is
postscript than it is passed through an interpreter and the resultant data
sent on to the printer via the spooler. (The printer is a Brother Laser
emulating a HP Laserjet II.)

Currently, by just sending the data out via stdout I get nice blank bits of
paper. :-)

The current program works as an output filter, but only if there is no
header.

Thanks in advance.

Steve
