I am halving problems with my 3com 3c590 PCI combo ethenet card

the card is brand new from 3com.. the revision is A I belive

I get an error when I boot in dmesg...

vx0 <3Com 3c590 EtherLink III PCI> rev 0 int a irq 11 on pci0:6
aui/bnc/utp[*UTP*] address 00:20:af:e2:f8:35
Warning! Defective early revision adapter!

I have set up the card Manualy and automaticly in the kernel build..

The card configures, I can ping it but I cant get past it to my
network...

I know the card is working because Windows95 works fine with it.. in the
same computer.. (thats sad..:()
