Be sure to give all the details, such as the adapter board and the OS
rev you are trying to use and how youare installing.

I bet this is the new AHA1542CP board.  Older releases don't recognize
it and treat it like an old (before -C) board.

2.1 supports this board properly and is solid now - you should install
that instead.
