If it's SCSI, perhaps Kenneth Stailey's (sp?) pint package is more
appropriate for you.  The last incarnation i've seen was

	pint-0.5d.tar.gz

Ask archie for it.  It will require tweaking in order to adapt it to
the FreeBSD driver interface, but it shouldn't be too much work.  I've
never been starting however (due to lack of time).
