I just changed /etc/sysconfig to make an IP address change (I'm using a
different network number). Now when I boot my system, it takes a couple of
minutes after it says that it's loading sendmail to come up to the login
prompt. After I login it takes a few minutes again to run Pine. Lastly, so
far anyway, when I TELNET from another machine it takes a couple of minutes
to connect and when I list the connections, my TELNET connection shows up as
coming from a virtual console. Anyone have any ideas what gives? All I did
was change the IP address in /etc/sysconfig.
