I need some help and advice on installing FreeBSD 2.0.5 and any
other version out there on my new scsi drive.

The system is an Everex STEP 386/33 with a Cyrix DRx2 processor;
16Meg ram; Trantor T130B SCSI host and Seagate 31200 drive.

I've tried all kinds of combinations slowing it down, disabling
cache, scsi termination variations, etc. but I keep getting
"biodone: device not busy" errors and the thing hangs up.

BTW, I've done installs successfully with an IDE drive - I decided
to try SCSI as an upgrade. DOS/Windows works like a champ (so
what else is new?).

The 951026SNAP gives me panics with the same error message.

Linux installs fine - but I really, really, really would prefer
FreeBSD.

Any advice?

Thanks.
