Why should someone install the Kerberos and DES floppy?
How would my life be different/better if I did?  What commands
would change?  Is there a bible/cookbook reference for
administering it?

I have a small LAN with several BSD/OS and DOS machines, doing
academic (experimental psychology) stuff.
