(somewhere in /etc) smail: smail said in /var/spool/smail/log/logfile 10/26/95 18:11:20: [m0t8Vpo-0003OeC] received | from: root | program: send-mail | size: 156 bytes 10/26/95 18:11:21: [m0t8Vpo-0003OeC] shanee ... deferred: (ERR_134) transport local: failed to lock mailbox I compiled the port and installed smail in /usr/sbin/ as sendmail as a link to rabbit# ll /usr/local/bin/smail -r-sr-sr-x 1 root kmem 241664 Oct 26 17:59 /usr/local/bin/smail there are /var/mail, /var/spool/lock, /var/mail and /var/spool/smail/lock in which directory try smail to lock the mailbox?
