Hi,

	Thanks for all your helpful suggestions.  I tried
re-downloading the package from different sites, and got the
same errors.  So I deleted all fonts in /usr/local/lib/texmf/fonts/pk,
and ran XDVI again to rebuild every font needed in the
*.xdvi files.  Now it's working pretty well.  Thanks again!
