Last time i've been looking, ghostscript 2.6.* had an Epson ESC/P2
driver (escp2).  I've never seen useable DVI drivers for Epson
printers in one of the newer distributions.  We used to run our SQ 870
with an adapted Epson-LQ driver, but this was with the older system
where you had to pre-compile all the fonts.
