It seems not even BSDI tech support can get me a straight answer on this
problem. Its seems simple enough for someone who has done this, beacuse I
can imagine this has been done before.
I have dial-in phone lines to my UNIX server. I want to be able to have
a client DIAL-IN to my system and receive newsgroups via UUCP. How hard
can this be? I have messed with it and had a couple of breakthroughs, but
I havent had exactly what I need done. For instance:
I want 2 newsgroups to batch for a dial-in uucp client. Lets say
comp.unix.bsd.bsdi.misc and info.bsdi.users. What do I put in the newsfeeds
file to have these incoming groups(via nntp) batch in the users UUCP
directory? If anyone answers this, please dont give me one of the
newsfeeds examples, becuase it doesnt work the way I need it to work.

ALSO, this is a little more complex. My dial-in server is separate from
the news server. Since my UUCP accounts dial-in on server#1 and news
comes in via nntp on server#2, how do I get the UUCP user to be able to
transfer news articles? I figure setup a login shell to where it uses rlogin
to the news server in which uucico is invoked there. Or I figured I could
NFS mount the news filesystems, but my dial-in server doesnt have enough room
for 4 GIGS of newsgroups.

Any ideas on problem #1? Problems #2 can be solved once I actually get
the specific newsgroups to batch in the proper uucp directory.
