I have looked through the doc., FAQ and post archives, but I am
still stuck, so I wanted to ask the FreeBSD population:

I have a no-name 386, 8MB, 320MB HD w/ WD controller, SVGA display
on irq 1, sio on irq 4. I configured the Inport card for irq 3,
which is unused at this time. Other parameters were set according
to the documentation. The device config. is:

device mse0	at isa? port 0x23c tty irq 3 vector mseintr

On boot, the system recognizes the card, and XFree86 starts up
OK. Unfortunately, the pointer does not track the mouse
movements. When the mouse moves, the pointer jumps to the upper left
corner, and basically stays there (some jerking occurs while moving
the mouse, but it typically ends back in upper left).

I suspect that the port is set wrong, since nothing else configured
is using port 0x23c. Also, I tried other irq settings, with the
same result.

I appreciate any pointers, esp. suggestions for port and other
settings. Thanks greatly.
