I have an epson 9pin printer (MX50+) hooked up to my PC. When I execute

lptest > /dev/lpt0

the command hangs until I kill it with a ^C; it never dies and nothing
ever comes out of the printer.

Can anyone give any insight into this?

Thanks,
Matt
