The configuration of the date after installation is still wrong. The date
display is meaningless.

date command has problem too:

# date 9510101323.16
Tue Oct 10 14:23:16 PDT 1995
Oct 10 14:23:16 myhost date: date set by root
# date 9510101324.20
Tue Oct 10 13:24:20 PDT 1995

The date has to be set twice to make ir correct. It was correct before.
