Hello!

After installing a FreeBSD testcomputer in a Sparc/Linux Network, I've
found following bug:

id output on Linux and Sparc computer:
uid=405(kukuk) gid=100(uni-pb) groups=100(uni-pb),17(www),50(users),51(dos),\
		101(user),102(grafik),103(software)

id output on FreeBSD 2.0.5-R and 2.1.0-SNAP (28.9.95)
uid=405(kukuk) gid=100(uni-pb) groups=100(uni-pb),100(uni-pb),50(users),51(dos)

The groups users and dos stands in the local group file on all systems,
www is a local group on the Linux and SunOS 4.1.3 systems,
uni-pb, user, grafik and software are groups from the NIS map.
The bug is very bad, because I cannot change to group software on the FreeBSD
system :-(

Thorsten

It's not too late to turn back from the "Gates" of Hell...
Use Linux, the free 32-bit operating system.
