While I agree that the process mostly works, it's *not* a democratic process.
It has a lot of features that *look* like one, but really it's more like a
marketing survey.

Both your and Terry's rattling on about democracy is, well, irrelevant to
how the system actually works. Or doesn't (as the case may be).

More details on request, but really it's pretty obvious if you think about it.
