I am doing some compiles on a BSDI 2.0 system. I am having a problem
figuring out how to get perl 5.001m to recognize the directory which
I have told it the dld library and header files are in. I also have
had a lot of problems getting gnu tar to untar properly - the bsdi
default tar keeps telling me the file is incomplete - but when I
ftp the same file to other systems I can untar it just fine.
