What I did was use /dev/ttyd0. This should probably work for you.

I have a couple of questions myself.

(1) I seem to recall when I was reading install procedures that it
would be better to set my clock to UTC. I can't seem to find the
reference anymore. Does such a reference exist, or did I hallucinate?
Why would setting the clock to UTC be beneficial?

(2) Has anyone gotten authorization to work with their X server? I
can't seem to find the magic incantation for xauth to add the right
display to the .Xauthority file so that X will work.

I am running FreeBSD 2.0.5.

Thanks,
