SYSTEM: running a unisys 6000/60 with unix s5v4.
compiled NCSA 1.4.2 httpd with no problems.
everything runs ok, except...
THE PROBLEM: when using a viewer netscape or mosaic,
the gifs do not display correctly. small gifs, < 3k
display correctly but anything larger paints a block ~
3k and the rest of the gif is black. this is not a
problem with the gifs as we have transfered them back
to the pc and they dispaly ok. other people have
looked with their viewers and they see the sme
problem.
However, when we used SCO unix xwindows / mosaic, the
gifs display ok.
SOLUTION: we don't know where to look...... any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
thanks ed jones / enj@arcsystems.com
