I have a new machine with an ATI Mach64 card. Dos and Windows work
fine. However, when trying to load FreeBSD, during probe time of the video
card the monitor goes blank. I thought that the system had died but that is
not the case. I swapped the card into a working FreeBSD (2.0.5-RELEASE)
system and the same thing happened. Although the monitor went blank I could
still rlogin into the system so the probe just causes the monitor to blank
out. Any ideas?
