Hello there...

I was trying to install FreeBSD 2.0.5 over a ppp link...
What happens is that after installing about 1% the line would disconnect.
I would redial (from shell 4, as shell 3: ppp would not respond) and the
transfer would continue. It would install another 2% of the package and
the modem would hang up once more (etc, etc).

I know I have no problems with the phone line/modem, and I know I can
install FreeBSD on that machine, as I did it over Ethernet the previous
week. (please do not say: if you did it over Ethernet, why do you want
to do it again over ppp).

Why: some of my customers would like to run FreeBSD in theyr UNIX boxes,
and I am trying to give them a cheaper option than having to hire me to
do it.
