Yes.  This is a DOS limitation based on a 32k cluster size and
24 bit start/end values (asumming drive translation: less without).

On the other hand, there is still an 8G offset limit based on
Linux's use of DOS partitioning limits on sector ranges (which is
still 24 bits because of DOS).
