I have a number of pentiums running on AHA2940s and are moving to the
3940(W)s. I am evaluating RAID arrays for these machines -- mainly for
reliability (and to a lesser extent speed).

I would like a RAID array with 2 channels so that I can utilize it between
2 of our servers. I currently have a mix of Micropolis and Seagate drives
floating amongst our servers and would like to move to a nice uniform
array.

Initially, I imagine using 2GB drives, with a array capacity of 8-10GB.
I would like to be able to swap the 2GB drives for 4GB drives or whatever
higher capacity/faster drives become available when I begin to exceed
that space limitation.

Suggestions on good RAID array manufacturers/resellers/VARs.
Suggestions on drives to be in the array are welcome as well.

TIA-

Ken
