I'm trying to setup a slip link through a pty so that I can talk to a daemon
that does IPIP encapsulation for Ham radio use.

I'm having trouble with slattach failing with the error that the device
doesn't support TIOCSDTR.

Obviously the pty won't support DTR so how can I bypass this error and
attach the slip port?

The OS is FreeBSD 2.0.5 (950622-SNAP)

Carl.
