*Most* do.  I was simply saying that to do a fair comparison between the
cost of a BusLogic BT946C, and a NCR 53C8xx based card, you need to
compare a NCR with a BIOS.  A BIOS-less NCR _cannot_ be moved to just
any PCI box, like a BusLogic.
I suppose a shady character could download the ROM updates from whoever
(ASUS?) and burn an EEPROM, and shove it on an ethernet card, then a
BIOS-less NCR could be used, but...

What's with the continous personal attacks on Michael?  What did he ever
do to you?  I don't necessary agree with Microsoft policies, but that is
_un-related_.  I don't see Michael mention your employer all of the
time.
