I'd suggest to look at FreeBSD WWW server for online docu.
www.freebsd.org. There you'll find comments concerning the
document project.

Otherwise you could sup the FreeBSD-stable share source tree.
There you'll find the up to date docu sources....

You might need some utilities from the usr.bin tree and some basic
stuff as /usr/share/mk/*sgml.mk

src-share release=stable host=sup.FreeBSD.org hostbase=/home base=/usr prefix=/usr/src delete old use-rel-suffix
