argh, ... I just can't tell how many times I had to work around
the typical 'bash-bugs'. 'bash' makes up a quiet nice interactive shell
(I prefer the zsh), but if it comes to portable '#!/bin/sh' it just bashes ;-)

... especially since bash and gmake are part of the 'standard packages
distribution. I've installed both of them just 5 minutes later than the
rest of FreeBSD.
