: Hello Everyone,

: I have a couple of questions:

: 1. What is a Memory Filesystem (MFS), along with the best way to configure
: it in your kernel, what are the advantages and disadvantages of using MFS,
: and what can you do with it once you have it?

Think of it as ramdisk, and you will be (mostly, I hope) right. It is
useful during installation and for preparing floppy images, for instance.

I don't think that it is of any special use in normal operation of the
system (at least I did not find any.)

man mfs(4).
