   Interesting. We have a few hundred GB Micropolis and Seagate drives for
   at least a year. None of Micropolis disk had problem. A few Seagate disks
   are dead right way.

I, too, would buy Micropolis before I'd buy Seagate.  But my
information is all second-hand: I've heard lots (enough to be
significant enough that I'd remember them) of horror stories about
dying Seagate drives, and I've heard lots of really positive things
about Micropolis.
