I'm having trouble with the following configuration:

Pentium 100mhz w/ ethernet running 2.0.5
Mac PPC 6100 running NCSA Telnet 2.7/MacTCP 2.6.1(?)
vt100 or vt220
stty extproc (could be significant)

Symptom:

My session does not react properly to ^G, ^C, etc which cause programs
like emacs to suspend (sig 17?) in raw mode. Also, if I disconnect
without logging out, the telnetd (I think) does not exit (i.e. it
doesn't detect a HANGUP).

Pathology:

NCSA telnet works fine when I've logged in through another unix
machine (sun,hp, u-name-it), or logged in mac->unix->freebsd. stty
extproc is set, while in other telnet sessions, it isn't (of course I
forget what the equivalent sun flag is to extproc).

I've started delving into telnet's protocol, but I can tell it'll be a
while before I can answer this one. Can anybody shed some light on
this problem?

Help much appreciated.
