Norman,
   Very simple operation for BSD or almost any *nix.  DNS requires either a 
complete DNS lookup or you must make a complete address in your domain.db, ie. 
jericho.com.	IN 	A	204.68.192.3
(don't forget the . after the com, otherwise it comes out 
jericho.com.tethys.net)
