:     Some but not all?  Does xterm's scrollbar work?  I've seen this
: sort of problem happen when your XF86Config does not handle the middle
: button of your mouse correctly (which is used to scroll Athena

Yep, xterms scrollbars work fine.  Xman is a little more dodgy, within a
manual page it works fine, but when changing to a list of manual pages
the solid portion of the scrollbar is often not located where you would
expect it to be (ie we are looking at manpages from a-d and the
scrollbar is down the bottom of the window.  A few mouse presses normally
seems to fix the problem though.

It is xemacs where the problem is most annoying.  I seem to remember that
xftp also had the same problem.

I'll just try and see what happens if I go over to Microsoft mode on the
mouse.
