Hi folks...

We're running BSD/OS 2.0 here patched current, and are having some
problems with stranded pop mail sessions. Basically this is happening
with users that are using Internet-in-a-Box or Chameleon's internet
starter kit for windows.., and also have dirty phone lines... From their
end, they are not able to complete the transfer, and
are not able to start another session (because of the stranded session on
our end). On our end, popper shows up in a ps -ax listing and can be
killed off and all is well, though usually there is a .user.pop left with
contents still in it...

Is there a way/utility/etc that I can cron job to lookfor these stranded
sessions, kill them off, and then merge the .user.pop file back into the
user's mailbox??? Any help would be greatly appreciated...
