Hello everybody,

When I got my FreeBSD CD this morning, I found out that FreeBSD doesn't support
the Panasonic 52x CD-ROM I have (it came with the SoundBlaster 'MultiMedia Kit').
Of course, it's my own fault that I didn't notice before: I just thought 'the Panasonic
CD-ROM connected to a SoundBlaster' is supported, and didn't check my CD-ROM's
model number.
The question is, of course, if anybody knows if there is some kind of driver for my CDROM
in development. There is a driver for Linux which supports my CD-ROM, so example
sources are available.

I really hope there's still a chance I can use my CD-ROM and the FreeBSD CD...

Greetings,
   Geert
