John I am still learning FreeBsd myself, but I wanted to try to help you with
the OS2 problem. The first thing I wanted you to know is that you don't have
to loose your Os2 partition (are you using Boot manager?). If you want to
start fresh with FreeBsd you could boot from the Os2 install disks (or utility
disks if you have them), run Fdisk and delete the FreeBsd partition.

Does your Mouse on Os2 works at all? Did you try turning the computer off
and back on and then booting os2? This may sound strange but I had a
problem with my Warp Connect installation that the CDrom would not work
in certain part of the installation until I turned the computer off and back on.

Let me know if you need more help with the Os2 end. I recommend you start
the Freebsd install from scratch. The best way for me to start Freebsd install
from scratch was to delete the FreeBsd partition using OS2's Fdisk.
