Even though I have turned off all the "drive > 1GB" etc. options
in the SCSIselect utility I still can't convince the damn 2940
to leave my geometry well enough alone!

Does anyone know if it is possible to convince it otherwise?

Am I wrong to assume that they have made a DOS centric decision
to not support >1024 cylinders geometry?
