I don't know how well they work with FreeBSD-current, but there are
some "POSIX" thread packages that at one time or another worked with
FreeBSD. One is at ftp://sipb.mit.edu/pub/pthreads, and another is
at ftp://ftp.cs.fsu.edu/pub/PART.

I am interested in hearing how well they work with FreeBSD-current.
