Off hand, it looks like something is stepping on video memory. All bios shadowing is turned off. Network services seem to continue to run just fine. I can telnet, POP, ftp etc. FreeBSD version is 2.0.5-950622-SNAP. Hardware is a 486-33 isa clone with a trident tvga8900(C?) video card, adaptec AH1542b, ne-2000 clone, and io card. In short, super-generic isa hardware. I'm not running X at all, just the console (text) screens. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
