This information may apply to FreeBSD 1.x. NCR has not disadvantage than
any other SCSI-2 controllers. All Pentinum-100 BIOS should be support it.
I have 10 different Pentinum motherboards and every one works with NCR SCSI
controllers.

BTW, I believe that NCR provide free BIOS upgrading kits for NCR chipset.
